Badges of Blanco County 5K/1K Walk- Fun Run

Proceeds from this event will benefit the Blanco County Precinct One Constable’s Office and help support the second annual Shop with Badges of Blanco County program, a special holiday event that brings together children in need and the men and women who serve our community, including law enforcement officers, jailers, firefighters, EMS personnel, and other participating first responders and public safety personnel from across Blanco County.

During the event, children will have the opportunity to meet and spend time with members of our local public safety and first responder community. The day begins with a meal shared together, followed by a special procession to a local store, where each child will be paired with a participating member of the public safety community for a memorable shopping experience. Each child will have the opportunity to select gifts for their family members, as well as something special for themselves.

Shop with Badges of Blanco County is about more than providing gifts during the holiday season. It is an opportunity to strengthen relationships between children and the men and women who serve their communities, create positive and lasting interactions, and show children that the people behind the badges are there to support, protect, and care for them. By helping provide a brighter Christmas for local families in need, this program creates lasting memories while bringing our community and its public safety personnel together during the holiday season.

We are proud to continue this important tradition for a second year and are grateful for the support of everyone who helps make Shop with Badges of Blanco County possible. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of local children and families during the holiday season.
